Substance Use
Maybe you find yourself drinking more than you meant to. Maybe you’ve set limits with yourself but they’re hard to stick to. Or maybe you’re confident that you need to make some changes to your relationship with substances. Maybe you forgot you had something in your pocket and pulled it out in the wrong setting and now there are some consequences to that. All are welcome! The most important thing is that you have a safe and nonjudgmental space to explore your relationship with substances. I’m here to help. As a Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner, I'm trained to help you decide what makes sense for your life.
I’m a huge nerd for all things drugs and learn as much as I can about them. I’m knowledgeable about the psychological and physiological impacts of many drugs – and if I don’t know, I’ll definitely find out!
Drug prohibition has failed to stop the use of drugs and drug-related crimes. Instead, the war on drugs has created unsafe conditions, led to mass incarceration in the US, and made it difficult to find reputable and reliable information so individuals can make well-informed decisions on how and what they choose to use.
If abstinence is your road, I’m down for it and I want to help you find long-term recovery. If harm reduction, responsible use, or experimentation is more your speed, I’d like to help you find the right information and make an educated decision.
